Annual General Meeting & Board Elections

NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Regina Ringette Association is scheduled for April 29, 2026, at 7:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre 445 14 Ave, Regina, SK.

PURPOSE OF THE AGM:

1. To elect the following Executive positions:
   
   • President
   • Secretary
2. To elect 5 members to the board (4 x two-year terms and 1 x one-year term). Successful candidates will be assigned to a directorship position most suited to their skill level and experience. Any RRA member is eligible to be a candidate if they so desire.    • Director of Children’s Ringette
   • Director of Registration
   • Director of Marketing
   • Director of Scheduling
   • Director of Website
3. Review proposed constitutional amendments.
4. Provide an overview of the 2025/2026 season.
5. Provide a financial update.
6. To discuss any matter(s) brought forward by the RRA membership

Agenda items will not be accepted after this date.

A registered Ringette player eighteen years of age or older, or one parent or guardian (per registered RRA player under 18), registered Coaches, Managers, Trainers, Treasurers, Board Members and Officials from Zone Two shall be eligible to vote at the Regina Ringette Annual General Meeting or any special general meetings.  According to the RRA Constitution, 30 eligible voters, or 5% of the eligible members, whichever is less, shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of the AGM. There may be only one vote cast by each eligible member. No voting by proxy will be allowed.

Members from other zone associations outside of Regina Ringette Association shall not have voting privileges at the RRA Annual General Meeting.
