18+ Open Adult Ringette Division

Welcome to the 18+ Open Adult Ringette Division, the largest division in our league with over 16 active teams! Whether you’re a former competitive athlete, a recreational player, or someone simply looking to stay in the game, we have a place for you.

Adult ringette offers a unique experience compared to youth divisions:

• Team Registration: Players register as a team, not as individuals.
• Competitive Options for All Levels: From high-caliber competition to recreational play, there’s a division that fits your skill and experience.

Divisions

We offer three tiers of competition so every player can find their fit:

• A Division – University teams and athletes who have aged out of AA or A programs but still want to play at a competitive level. These teams can qualify for the Canadian Western Ringette Championships.
• B Division – Typically former A players or strong B players looking for a balance of competition and fun.
• C Division – Geared toward former B players and those looking for a more recreational experience.

Practices

Unlike youth ringette, the league does not schedule practices for 18+ teams unless specifically requested before the season begins. Teams interested in extra practice ice can contact the commissioner. RRA will do its best to provide available ice time, which will be invoiced directly to the team.

Spare List

Not ready to commit to a full season, or still looking for a team? Join our Spare List!

• Eligibility: Players who turn 18 by December 31 of the current season.
• How it works: Spare List players are the first to be contacted when a team needs affiliate (AP) players.
• Cost: Free for goalies and $200 for skaters.
