Eastern Canada Team (U14)

For the 2023-24 season, RRA has approved a travel team that will see U14B players head to Montreal at the conclusion of the season in Spring 2024. Participation in this team will require a one-year commitment which will conclude at the end of the trip.

Unlike in the past, this team will not be participating in league play. However, this team will offer an unique opportunity for players to experience a higher level of on and off ice training, as well as additional insight into mental and physical preparation for game play. On top of that, the team will get the unique experience of traveling to Montreal to engage in a series of games against competition from eastern Canada.

Players on the team will also be participants amongst the other U14B teams so a high degree of player and family commitment will be required. Time commitments for this program will be an average of 4 times per month (1-2 hours per engagement), a possible mid-season tournament and the post-season tournament in Montreal. Time to support any necessary fundraising is to be determined.

Financial commitment from participants will be dependent upon fundraising and sponsorship efforts. However, the goal is to provide the opportunity at a reasonable cost.

Team staff are very excited to provide this extra training opportunity for players to support player skill development for their future competitive years as well as a trip for them to remember forever.

Head Coach: Graham Lauten

Assistant Coaches: Caitlyn Robertson, Scott Weaver, Megan Lockert

Manager: Darla Larson
